Current Needs

In addition to our wish list the Fredericton SPCA has an immediate needs list. These are the items we require NOW. These items are important to our animal enrichment and to shelter operations. 

URGENT NEEDS AS OF AUGUST 24, 2010

• small, medium and large cat litter boxes
• disposible gloves (latex and non-latex)
• Kong balls http://www.kongcompany.com/worlds_best.html 
• large rope, plush and squeeky toys for dogs
• heating pads, magic bags (for nursing weanlings & sick animals)
• KMR (kitten milk replacer) & nursing bottles
• cat toys (wands, charmers, mice, squeeky squirrels and fluffy birds, no cat nip or balls please)
• precision style crates to house overflow of cats
• dish soap
• scrubbing sponges
• scotch tape

Ongoing needs in adition to our wishlist are as follows:

Dogs:

• hot dogs
• cheese whiz
• peanut butter
• brown paper lunch bags
• soft dog treats (example bacon bits, beggin strips, soft marrowbone treats)

Cats:

• scoopable cat litter (for foster family cats)
• cat wands and feathers
• Royal Canin "baby cat" dry food
• cat blankets (washable)
• KMR (kitten milk replacer) & nursing bottles
